Yes, from the time you meet at the &Bikes Cafe and Boutique in Cape Town, or “The Bike Shed” in Stellenbosch until the end of the tour, a guide will be with you all the time.
What should I bring?
Bring yourself, friends, comfortable shoes, sun block, a warm top/windbreaker, a camera and money for lunch & any wines you wish to purchase along the way.
What happens in the case of bad weather?
The guide will make a call on the morning of the trip. Often the weather in Winelands is different to the weather in Cape Town. Should the trip be cancelled, you have the option of scheduling for another date (subject to availability) or a refund.
Can we buy wines from the farms?
Most definitely, you can buy a wide selection of excellent wines at fantastic prices.
How much money should I bring with on the day?
We recommend you bring along some money for lunch, beverages at lunch and wine from the wine farms you will visit.
Will I get too drunk to ride my bike?
No will you should not get too inebriated to ride, as you are exercising you metabolize the alcohol faster than you normally would.
