More About This Tour
Our bicycle wine tour in Constantia sends guests on a 12 km exploration of the Klein Constantia Wine Estate. Guests can enjoy a one-of-a-kind, exclusive experience from the comfort of their bikes. We will glide across silky private trails open solely to the guests on our tour. So you won’t have to worry about crowds. Enjoy the pleasant warmth of the morning and take in a lungful of fresh air as we navigate the trails in solitude. Klein Constantia has some of the best scenic sights of Constantia Valley and False Bay. While we zip around the wine estate, bask in the panoramic views of the region and take in its natural beauty. Although our Constantia e-bike tour is for half a day, it includes many exciting activities. Guests can enjoy an MCC tasting, which features a line-up of South African Methode Cap Classique (MCC) sparkling wines. A private estate cellar tour follows where you can indulge in a premium wine tasting experience.
More About Constantia
Klein Constantia is one of the most stunning gems in the wine-producing region of Constantia. It’s set on the foothills of the Constantiaberg, nestled by ancient trees and lush greenery. The premier wine estate was born in 1712 from the division of a vast property named Constantia, which the first governor of the Cape owned. The 146-hectare wine estate boasts a land rich with decomposed granite soils, which are responsible for Klein Constantia’s high-quality wines. Several iconic white wines, particularly Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc, are the prized possessions of Klein Constantia. The renowned 18th and 19th century Constantia dessert wine, Vin de Constance, is its pride and joy.

We did the Klein Constantia half day bike tour and wine tasting and it was perfect. We were on e bikes and that really helped along the ups and downs all around the vineyard. Abi was great--he's so knowledgeable about wines and the area.
